The United States will resume the blockade of maritime traffic with Iranian ports from July 14. This was announced on July 13 by the press service of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).

"On the instructions of the Commander—in—Chief, the forces of the US Central Command will resume the blockade of maritime transport entering and exiting Iranian ports on July 14 at 16:00 eastern time (23:00 Moscow time - Ed.)," follows from a post on the social network X (former. Twitter).

It is noted that the American forces will begin to block shipping on the approaches to Iranian ports and coastal areas. At the same time, the military will continue to ensure the passage of vessels that do not violate the blockade.

On July 13, US President Donald Trump announced that he had resumed the naval blockade of Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, and the waterway would continue to function. It was noted that the restrictions imposed relate exclusively to the Iranian side and its partners.
