In addition, on the eve of the summit, the passage of the main attraction of the French capital, the Eiffel Tower, was completely blocked. Kostiv noted that the tight security measures have turned into a political show that precedes the joint statement of the anti-Russian bloc.

"It was urgently reinforced by North Macedonia and Moldova. [French President Emmanuel] Macron said in advance: this year Bastille Day will become a platform for a joint European statement to Moscow. It's not difficult to guess what it will be like," the correspondent said.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that nine European countries, including the Coalition of the Willing, had agreed to create an association with Ukraine to counter ballistic missile attacks. The members of the new coalition intend to combine defense industry bases, research and experience to create a joint missile defense capability in Europe.
