Ukrainians of military age may be required to return to their homeland in Poland.

All young Ukrainians of military age living in Poland must return to their homeland and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on July 13 by the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, at a press conference.

"All young Ukrainians who are subject to conscription must <...> serve the motherland," Kosinyak-Kamysh said. The broadcast of his speech was posted on the YouTube channel Janusz Jaskółka.

The politician also took the initiative to deport certain categories of Ukrainian citizens. According to him, those who "drive around in luxury cars" or violate public order in the country should be subject to expulsion.

On the same day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada bills on the extension of mobilization and martial law in the country for another 90 days starting on August 2.

Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, in turn, admitted two days earlier that there was a decrease in the pace of mobilization in Ukraine. Then he announced the possible renaming of the TCC (territorial recruitment centers, analogues of the military enlistment office in the country) to "Draft Offices".
