Since the beginning of 2026, more than 190 units of endoscopic and video endoscopic equipment have been purchased for hospitals in the Moscow region. About 1.4 billion rubles were spent for these purposes.
This will improve the quality of diagnosis and will allow detecting diseases at an early stage, performing minimally invasive operations, so that patients will recover faster after surgery, the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya writes with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
According to Maxim Zabelin, deputy chairman of the regional government and Minister of Health of the region, hospitals in Serpukhov, Shchelkov, Shatura, Kashira, Korolev and Solnechnogorsk, among others, received equipment.
The medical equipment was purchased on behalf of Governor Andrey Vorobyov as part of the national project "Long and active life".
In total, 240 units of endoscopic equipment worth more than 2.1 billion rubles are planned to be purchased for hospitals near Moscow in 2026. 45 medical organizations will receive medical equipment.
In July, it was reported that 216 units of electrocardiographs and Holter monitors had been received in hospitals near Moscow since the beginning of the year. The total cost of the equipment was almost 150 million rubles. Medical devices are needed to diagnose cardiovascular diseases. The technique allows for both standard electrocardiography and long-term monitoring of the heart.
