The victim of the collapse of the Pier in Muravyaya Bay in Primorsky Krai, in an interview with Izvestia on July 13, shared the details of the incident.

He said that he was on the pier when it began to crack and collapse. He tried to grab onto the cable, but the structure fell before him.

"A bridge fell on me. Got out. I had a friend with me. I got the girl [from under the rubble] and two boys. <...> They took them all out and handed them over to the ambulance right away," Yaroslav clarified.

According to him, as a result of the incident, his friend lost a finger, and two other young guys suffered knee and ankle injuries. Yaroslav himself suffered a through foot injury.

As a result of the collapse of a pier in Primorsky Krai on July 13, four people were injured, including three children. At the time of the collapse of the structure, children were swimming under it. Other children also jumped from the pier into the water. It was noted that the overlap had been in disrepair for a long time. A criminal case has been opened into the collapse.
