Sergeant Sergey Maslov, as the commander of the support platoon, was delivering ammunition and food to the positions when he noticed an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) approaching his car. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Monday, July 13.

Maslov used small arms and shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the air, preventing an attempted attack. The cargo was delivered to the Russian military on time.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the professionalism of Private Vladimir Bannikov, who was on his way to the damaged combat vehicle in an armored repair and evacuation vehicle (BREM) as part of an evacuation group.

The drone detector signaled the detection of enemy FPV drones nearby. Bannikov reduced the speed of the BREM and began to maneuver to get out from under fire. He shot down one UAV in the air. As a result, they managed to get away from the drones, as well as evacuate equipment for repairs.

On July 12, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Junior Lieutenant Andrei Ivanov was conducting aerial reconnaissance of the area using a UAV when he discovered a camouflaged cluster of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment.
