Sviridenko confirmed her resignation from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine

On July 12, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko confirmed that she was leaving her post, which she had held since July 17, 2025.

"I am proud that I had the honor to lead the government during the most difficult period of Ukraine's recent history," she wrote on her Facebook page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the territory of the Russian Federation).

Sviridenko attached her photo to the publication with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, with whom she managed to hold talks. During the conversation, she explained, they managed to discuss all the challenges facing the country and the upcoming changes.

Sviridenko stated that she intends to continue to serve for the benefit of her state and carry out tasks to strengthen it.

Zelensky announced on the same day that he plans to change the composition of the entire government of Ukraine and dismiss Sviridenko. He thanked her for her work and offered to lead an important new direction in relations with a certain "key partner." Zelensky cited Ukraine's preparations for the new winter and agreements with Kiev's allies on reconstruction as the reasons for the personnel changes.
