France and Poland have begun discussing the creation of a European "nuclear umbrella." This was announced on July 10 by the Polish Foreign Ministry.
"Based on the French president's proposal to establish a strategic dialogue with European partners on the concept of 'advanced deterrence,' Poland and France held their first consultations on nuclear cooperation in Paris," the publication said on the social network.
It was clarified that the negotiations took place on June 10.
