Seagal admitted the risk of a world war while continuing to supply weapons to Kiev

On July 11, actor Steven Seagal, Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for Russian-American humanitarian relations, admitted that further supplies of weapons by Western countries to Ukraine for attacks on Russian territory could lead to a world war.

"How do they create a situation in which they can launch missiles deep into Russia, knowing full well that if they continue to do so, it will escalate into a full—scale world war," he said in an interview with Roger Keppel, editor-in-chief of Die Weltwoche magazine.

According to Segal, he is concerned that Britain, Poland and Germany continue to supply weapons to Ukraine and thus contribute to the escalation of the conflict. When asked about Russia's possible reaction to the attacks on Moscow and St. Petersburg, he expressed the opinion that the parties were "on the verge" of such a development.

In the interview, the actor also expressed his own assessment of the causes of the Ukrainian crisis, saying that he associated its beginning with the events of 2014 in Kiev. According to him, it was then that the process began, which later led to a large-scale conflict. Seagal also stated that he considers Russian President Vladimir Putin to be "the greatest world leader," and described the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, as a man who has not changed since the beginning of his acting career.
