Emergency pedestrian bridge to be closed in Lipetsk

The pedestrian bridge over the railway tracks will be rebuilt on Gaidara Street in Lipetsk. The passage for citizens will be closed next week.

The contractor will already start preparing the construction site. The workers mowed down the weeds, laid out a platform for a crane with railway slabs and installed a fence. Dismantling of the old bridge will take no more than a week after obtaining all permits for work on the railway. This is reported by GOROD48.

A temporary workaround has been prepared in advance for the residents of the Quarry. There is a lighted pedestrian crosswalk in the bathhouse area, and an asphalt path has also been laid between the highway and the railway line.

The initial cost of the contract was 52.8 million rubles. The bridge was built in 1960 and was declared an emergency several years ago.
