Summary of the special operation in Ukraine for the week

A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The Russian army, in response to Kiev's terrorist attacks on civilian targets in the territory of the Russian Federation, carried out massive and six group strikes with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

As a result, enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, military airfields, ammunition depots, logistics centers, fuel and energy, transport and port infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), production and storage sites for long-range drones and their components, temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries were affected.

The North group of troops liberated the settlement of Petro-Ivanovka in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the actions of Russian military personnel in this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 1,380 militants, two tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 80 vehicles and seven field artillery pieces.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces took control of the settlements of Druzhladovka, Novy Mir, Cherneshchyna and Shyikovka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Konstantinovka and Vasilyevka in the DPR.

"Last week, in the village of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People's Republic, units of the 25th Army's reinforcement forces conducted mine clearance of the territory, socially significant facilities, as well as the search and destruction of single fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The assault detachments of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division were advancing west of the city. <...> In the area of responsibility of the Zapad group of forces, enemy losses amounted to over 1,490 soldiers," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

In turn, air defense systems shot down 72 guided aerial bombs, 36 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, four Vampire multiple rocket launchers, 10 Flamingo land-based cruise missiles, three Neptune-MD long-range guided missiles, and 4,975 aircraft-type drones. The forces of the Black Sea Fleet in the Black Sea eliminated six unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 673 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 178,495 UAVs, 665 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,098 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,756 multiple rocket launchers, 35,715 field artillery and mortars, 66,103 pieces of special vehicles.
