A court in Ukraine refused to lift Zelensky's sanctions against Poroshenko

The Supreme Court of Ukraine refused to lift the sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) against former President Petro Poroshenko (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as an extremist and terrorist in the community), imposed by the decision of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported on July 10 by the Ukrainian TV channel "Public".

"The Administrative Court of Cassation, as part of the Supreme Court, rejected the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, in the case of lifting the NSDC sanctions against him," the publication says.

After the announcement of the decision, Poroshenko's lawyers announced that they intend to appeal it. They called the court's ruling illegal and unfounded. The defense of the ex-president also stated that there was pressure on the court from the staff of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and announced its intention to address this issue to the leadership of the department.

On May 13, Poroshenko noted that the consequences of the corruption scandal revealed in Ukraine could hit the entire country. The former president added that the revealed schemes undermine Kiev's "defense capabilities" and damage its international reputation. They, as he stressed, do not contribute to the process of European integration.
