Victoria Daineko and Grunge will perform at the show "Salt. The legend"
A lyrical demon against a harsh Siberian soul will come together in a really heated duel. Legendary pop singer Victoria Daineko will present her fatal character — her opponent will be a young, but already since childhood, famous Grunge performer. All this is on the stage of the musical show "Salt. Legend" will be on REN TV on July 10 at 22:30 Moscow time.
The father of the Grunge singer Sergey Sever is a chansonnier, the author of the songs "A skirt in a fly" and "For a youngster". The son must have turned south somewhere, because it's getting hot. Daineko is even more complicated: in the minds of millions of fans, she was and is a pop artist. Heavy artillery is being used. The ex-guitarist of the Gaza Strip helped the Daineko musicians to arrange the "Fog".
"There are a lot of cool songs, they said to me: "No, no, I need "Fog". "Fog" — it's right there right now. I was like, "Yeah, that's right," the singer shared.
The jury still compares the cover with the songs of the bands "Combination" and "Mirage".
"You can't say that something was wrong with you at all. Apart from the fact that there was no rock, but everything is fine," said Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, producer Viktor Drobysh.
"Three rounds in which the artists will perform a cover of the legendary Russian rock hit, perform their popular song in an unusual rock arrangement and make a cover of a song by one of the jury members. At this moment, dozens of viewers and dozens of TV cameras are looking at you," said Maxim Oblender, a correspondent for Izvestia.
Ant from the band "25/17" (Anton Zavyalov), who is sitting in the chair of a replacement member of the jury, recognizes the familiar notes immediately, but Drobysh, ST, and Vadim Samoilov hear a discrepancy with the original for at least 10 years in this hit.
"20 years ago, I was two years old. The only miracle that could be expected was Santa Claus. And then I realized that this was a grandfather in disguise," said singer Georgy Russian (Grunge).
He calls himself a lyrical demon. And lyrical — in the lyrics, in the bouquet given by Daineko. Grunge, like everyone else, also listened to her songs.
Synthesizers are playing, and Samoilov guesses his song in guitar riffs and what he loves so much — a total, deep reworking. In cold Yakutia, where Daineko is from, such songs were not sung to the guitar.
"We usually played such songs at the lyceum at the disco," the singer said.
"But you've never gone outside to sit in a circle?" said actor and TV presenter Stas Yarushin.
"I am from the city of Mirny in Yakutia. At minus 40, it's hard to sit in the yard and play," Daineko said.
But it can be done in a studio where it's plus 40, where it's hot from the fire, where experiments take place under the applause of the audience, as if in a laboratory.
Pop artists are turned into rockers. Was it successful or not? Who won in this issue — watch the show "Salt. Legend" on REN TV and on the VK Video channel on July 10.
In the last issue of "Salt. Legend" singers Dana Sokolova and Jesus performed rock covers. Sokolova chose a complex male ballad by the Aria group, and Jesus presented his own version of a popular song by Yulia Chicherina, with whom he had previously been little familiar.
