The FSB showed Ukraine's cache of drones for an attack on an airfield in the Rostov region

On July 10, the FSB of Russia showed a cache of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine with drones for an attack on a military airfield in the Rostov region.

The footage published by the agency shows how intelligence officers using robotic technology penetrate the territory of the cache and discover drones there. Later, an examination of the drones was carried out and it was revealed that they contain artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

"The FSB of Russia has prevented a large-scale operation by the special services of Ukraine aimed at destroying military airfields using unmanned aerial vehicles and FRV drones. If successful and the goals were achieved, this would lead to the disabling of runways, hangars, and air traffic control systems, which would paralyze combat aircraft in key areas of their operations," said Sergey Sveshnikov, a veteran of the security agencies.

According to him, the drones could recognize and hit targets themselves. In addition, it was established that the training of AI drones took place on the territory of the State Aviation Museum of Ukraine.

On the same day, the Russian FSB thwarted an attempt by the GUR of Ukraine to carry out a series of sabotage and terrorist acts using drones, unprecedented in scale. To do this, the enemy planned to use 13 FPV drones equipped with artificial intelligence systems. The combat load of each drone was more than 1 kg of TNT explosives. The Russian, who received an offer from the Ukrainian intelligence service, showed consciousness and voluntarily contacted the security authorities.
