As a result of an accident involving a passenger minibus and a truck in the Republic of Kalmykia, 10 people were injured. This was announced on July 10 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic.

"In the Yashkulsky district, on the 208th km of the FAD R-216 highway, a head-on collision occurred between a passenger minibus and a truck," the ministry said in a statement.

As a result, 10 people were injured, including two children.

To eliminate the consequences of the accident, the forces and means of the Yashkul fire and Rescue garrison were involved. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, and traffic police officers are working on the scene.
