Vladimir Filimonov, creative producer of REN TV, head of the film and series production directorate, was a true professional in his field, who enjoyed his work and was a part of his life. Olga Pogodina, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia about this on July 9.

According to the actress, even with difficult work with big TV series, the producer never clashed with colleagues and maintained friendly relations with them. Even during the installation and approval of the projects, Filimonov positively assessed the work.

"We somehow treated each other warmly, we understood each other so much. Our work went well <... > because we looked at so many things the same way. Over the years, we haven't even argued once. This doesn't happen at all. <... > Volodya and I didn't even have an argument," Pogodina recalls.

Pogodina noticed that friends like Filimonov remain in the memory forever, and also teach a lot. The actress called the producer's death sad, adding that he shot many worthy pictures. She remembered that he came to work first and left last.

"It's a rare coincidence when work really brings pleasure, and Volodya was just such a person — his work brought him great pleasure, it was his life, it was his only life," the actress emphasized.

Ruben Dishdishian, General Producer of Mars Media, also expressed his condolences on Filimonov's death.

"I'm in shock. My condolences to the family and friends, my friends from the REN TV channel, I hug you tightly," Dishdishian said.

Film producer and director Mikhail Pogosov also said that Filimonov was a very bright man, loyal to the people around him. He noted that Filimonov, as an acting director, understood that the film crew needed advice and help, not edification and intervention. He paid special attention to training, which made it easy and comfortable to work with him.

Filimonov died at the age of 62 on this day. Among the producer's works are such films as "Evil", "Operation Neman", "The ZIG ZAG Gang", "Varyag", "Fathers", "The Fugitive" and "Drastic Measures". He also worked on the projects "Operation Carpathians — 1, 2", "SMERSH. Continuation", "SMERSH 3", "SMERSH 4", "Smashing ray", "On the trail of the beast", "Dear Willy", "Rooks", "Treasures of the Scythians" and "Extreme measures".
