Director Kasatkin called producer Filimonov a man of great soul.

Vladimir Filimonov, creative producer of REN TV and head of the film and TV series production department, was a man of great soul. Director, screenwriter, producer Alexander Kasatkin told about it on July 9.

"A man of great soul, a professional with a capital letter, sensitive. It's very sad when such people leave, and so early," Kasatkin said.

He noted that just a few days ago he talked with Filimonov and discussed working with music with him. The director added that Filimonov's departure defies absolutely any awareness, and the news of the producer's death completely "knocked him out of the saddle."

Denis Frolov, producer of the Guaranteed Delivery project, in turn, stressed that today Russian television has lost a professional, intelligent and subtle person. According to him, Filimonov, with whom Frolov collaborated on "Delivery with a guarantee," always helped, felt the material and the drama.

"Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Vladimir Nikolaevich. We will always remember him," Frolov added.

Filimonov passed away on Thursday, July 9th. His contribution to the development of Russian television production has become an era, and his filmography has included many landmark projects that have become popular with millions of viewers.
