Two cases of tick-borne encephalitis and three cases of borreliosis were registered in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. All the patients are adults.

According to the <url> news agency, nine ticks were examined in the laboratory of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District for six months. Six of them were positive for borreliosis. Nevertheless, all cases of infection are imported.

The citizens with encephalitis came from the Tyumen region and Bashkortostan. Cases of borreliosis were imported from the Leningrad and Kurgan regions, as well as Bashkortostan.

Rospotrebnadzor reminds that the availability of vaccination against encephalitis is not enough for full protection. When going out into nature, you should use repellent agents and choose protective clothing.

One case of ehrlichiosis has been reported in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A 15-year-old teenager fell ill.
