Alcohol sales to be restricted in Yamal on Fisherman's Day

Alcohol sales were restricted in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District on July 11. The Fisherman's Day will be celebrated in the region.

Festive events are planned in Gornoknyazevsk, Salekhard, Tazovsky and Yamal districts. This is reported by the news agency " <url>". Official letters have already been sent to local entrepreneurs.

Alcohol sales will be limited to retail. The owners of retail outlets are asked to warn the sellers in advance and reprogram the cash register equipment.

In Russia, alcohol consumption has fallen to a new low since 1997-1998. It amounted to 7.62 liters per person for 12 months.
