- Parents of unsupervised children swimming will be fined in the Krasnoyarsk Territory
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, parents of children who swim without supervision will be brought to administrative responsibility. At the session of the Legislative Assembly, the relevant amendments to the regional law "On the Protection of the Rights of the Child" were adopted in the second reading.
Thus, bathing of children under 12 years of age is possible only in the presence of parents or legal representatives. Children under the age of seven must be equipped with individual life-saving equipment.
The law also applies to events involving children. In this case, entrepreneurs and legal entities should be responsible.
Violations will be detected during police raids and at the request of citizens who notice unsupervised children near reservoirs, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.
Earlier, on July 2, it was reported that criminal cases had been opened in the Altai Territory after the deaths of two children in reservoirs. On July 1, in the village of Kokshi, a four-year-old girl and her grandmother were on the shore of Lake Bolshoe Lazurnoe. The child put on an inflatable circle and entered the water. At the depth, the girl fell out of the rescue vehicle and drowned. On the same day, a 13-year-old boy drowned in the Aley River on the outskirts of the village of Bezrukavka in the Rubtsovsky district. He was at the reservoir with his relatives.
