Russia's international reserves increased by $6.5 billion in a week

The volume of Russia's international reserves increased by $6.5 billion over the week and reached $721.7 billion by the end of the day on July 3. This was announced on July 9 on the website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

"As of the end of the day on July 3, 2026, international reserves amounted to $721.7 billion," the publication says.

According to the regulator, international reserves increased by 0.9% during the week. The growth of the indicator itself is mainly due to the positive revaluation of assets. At the same time, Russia's international reserves totaled $743.8 billion on June 19. During the week, the figure then increased by $ 14.5 billion.

This could result in serious reputational losses for Washington.

Russia's international reserves totaled $729.3 billion as of June 12. As the regulator noted, on June 5, the volume of reserves was at the level of $749.7 billion. Thus, during the reporting period, the indicator decreased by $20.4 billion. In addition, as of May 29, the figure was $748.7 billion.
