A local resident was injured when a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a gas station in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on July 9 by the head of the region, Alexander Khinshein.
"An enemy drone attacked a gas station in the village of Fonov in the Rylsky district. As a result of the impact, a 58-year—old local resident was injured," he wrote on his channel in "Max".
Khinstein added that the man has a blind shrapnel wound to his chest, left thigh and an akubar injury. The victim refused to be hospitalized after receiving first aid and will be monitored by doctors on an outpatient basis. The governor also said that the gas station, which was the target of the attack, had minor damage.
Earlier in the day, the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region reported that one person was killed, five more, including a child, were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the region. The drone attacked a civilian car, the driver of which died on the spot, and a woman and a 16-year-old teenager in the cabin received severe shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized. Three more people were injured in other drone strikes.
