A squirrel caused a commotion at the Meta office in Bangkok

A squirrel entered the office of Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) in Bangkok and caused a commotion among employees. This was reported on July 8 by the Wired portal with reference to an internal document of the company.

"A squirrel broke free in a building in Bangkok, <...> where some of the tech giant's regional teams are based. The animal ran around the office for at least 20 minutes, running past employees. <...> The squirrel inflicted minor injuries on the cleaner before it was caught," the document says.

According to the newspaper, the animal was delivered to the office in a box, but the squirrel managed to get out. For what reason she was brought into the building and where she is now, it is not specified.

According to Wired, one of the cleaners took over responsibility for bringing the squirrel into the office. During the incident, the animal scratched his finger. The victim was given first aid, after which he was sent to the hospital for additional examination.
