The economist recalled the additional payment of over 3 thousand rubles to the pension for dependents

Retired citizens of the Russian Federation, who have dependents in their care, can expect to receive an additional payment to the insurance pension in the amount of over 3 thousand rubles. This was announced on July 9 by Igor Balynin, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The amount of the supplement depends on the number of dependents: for each in 2026, it increases by 3,194.90 rubles. At the same time, no more than three dependents are taken into account," he said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

The expert recalled that insurance payments consist of two parts.: fixed and the one provided by pension coefficients. So, the first one is 9584.69 rubles, and the size of one coefficient is 156.76 rubles.

As Balynin explained, the persons for whom a supplement can be given include all minor children, students enrolled in full-time studies under the age of 23, and children of any age if they become disabled before the age of 18.

At the same time, there is no provision for co—financing from the budget - as employers will be involved in transferring payments for employees.

Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, said on June 30 that some categories of Russians will be able to receive increased social benefits from July 1. According to her, the innovations will apply to those whose life status has changed, in particular, to the disabled of group I, pensioners with dependents and agricultural sector workers with more than 30 years of experience.
