In Yakutia, an approved mechanism for the release of petroleum products to agricultural producers will be launched within 24 hours. This was demanded by the head of the region, Aisen Nikolaev.

According to him, fuel shortages should not be allowed, including due to the fact that with a short agricultural season, any delays can damage production.

The Republican Ministry of Civil Defense and Life Safety has been instructed to bring the decision to fuel suppliers by the end of the day. Nikolaev drew attention to the fact that the developed and approved mechanism for the release of fuel to farmers should start working immediately.

In addition, the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food Policy has been instructed to increase the volume of forage harvesting. Municipal and agricultural machinery will be gradually converted to gas-powered fuel in areas with ready infrastructure.
