On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, the All—Russian Family Parade 2026 was triumphantly held at VDNH in Moscow. The main family event in the country brought together about 10,000 people in Moscow and, according to preliminary estimates of the organizers, about half a million participants in more than 200 cities of Russia — from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka. The holiday was held under the motto "Russia is a family of families!" with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The central venue of the Parade was the Northern Loop and the space at Pavilion No. 57 "Russia — my history". At 17:30, the gathering of guests began, for whom interactive zones, workshops and animators worked. At 18:30, a festive column of thousands — families with children, families with many children and multigenerational dynasties, representatives of government, clergy and public organizations — marched along the central alley of VDNKh to the sounds of two brass bands.

The culmination of the march was the opening of the concert on the main stage at 19:00. The presenter was Anna Shafran. The organizers and distinguished guests addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Vakhtang Kipshidze, Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Department for Church—Society Relations and the Media, read out a greeting from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, in which the Patriarch emphasized that "the family is a great gift from God, a space of love and mutual support," and expressed special gratitude to large families "who set an inspiring example of sacrificial love."".

The volunteers set a record for the "Daisy from the Family Parade" by building a giant daisy made of sewn petals on the square. Then a concert program with the participation of popular artists unfolded on the stage.: Sofia, Alexander Shcherbakov and the Silver Way group, Irakli Pirtskhalava, KATERINA, Pavel Pascal, Varvara Komissarova and others.

An award ceremony was held in three blocks for 12 large and super-large families (most of them have more than 10 children). The awards were presented by distinguished guests: Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Andrey Kormukhin, Chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Issues Priest Fyodor Lukyanov, Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Alexander Besputin, Vice Chairman of the Healthy Fatherland movement Oleg Saitov, Head of the Russian Cross Foundation Evgeny Blagov, founding coordinator of the movementForty Sorokov" by Vladimir Nosov and others.

"Today we have witnessed the birth of a new all-Russian tradition. The Family parade is a symbol of a resurgent state-civilization, a large, young and passionate millennial Russia. We have integrated our society from atomized individuals into a family of families. And I am convinced that every year there will be more and more of us, because a strong family is the main value of our people," said Andrey Kormukhin, Chairman of the All—Russian Public Movement Family, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the All—Russian Family Parade.

"The main mission of the All-Russian Family Parade is that when our large families go out together, they speak louder than any slogans about what is important for them and for Russia today, without unnecessary words, by the very fact of their existence and choice of life priorities. Such projects should not only be supported, but the state should realize their crucial role, because this is the foundation of all government decisions," said Anna Kuznetsova, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma.

"The Family Parade is the most important event that we must support now, because family values are the foundation of everything, the foundation of our country. When the whole country takes to the streets to show that the family is sacred to us, it is a powerful signal for our children and for the whole world. We must make sure that a large family becomes not just the norm, but a real cult in our country," said Oleg Saitov, vice chairman of the All—Russian Public Movement Healthy Fatherland, two-time Olympic champion.

An important outcome of the holiday was that at a press conference on July 6, the organizers and partners of the Parade signed an appeal to Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, with an initiative to make July 8 an official day off. As Kormukhin noted, "this is the need of our society today: to give the importance to the family that it deserves." Anna Kuznetsova supported the initiative and proposed to empower the regions to introduce a day off on this day. The organizers express the hope that starting next year, Family, Love and Fidelity Day will become a non-working holiday for the whole country.

The All-Russian Family Parade has already become one of the main traditions of celebrating the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in Russia. In 2025, more than 400,000 people took part in the marches in 150 cities.
