The expert spoke about the growth of all types of pensions in 2027

All types of pensions in the Russian Federation will be increased in 2027. Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on July 9.

"All types of pensions are increased annually without fail, the amounts depend on the type of pensions," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The expert noted that the final amount of the increase will be determined after assessing the economic situation at the end of the year.

In the field of pension provision, we are talking about several types of payments, including insurance, social and funded pensions, military pensions, as well as recalculation of payments for citizens who continue to work.

The expert drew attention to the change in the schedule for increasing old—age insurance pensions in 2027: instead of one indexation from January 1, it is planned to carry it out in two stages - from February 1 and April 1.

At the same time, the mechanism of indexation of social pensions will not change: as before, it is scheduled to be held on April 1. During the year, it is also planned to adjust the amount of additional payments for a number of privileged categories of pensioners, in particular, former miners and pilots.

According to Ivanova-Shvets, from August 1, 2027, it is planned to recalculate payments to working pensioners, as well as increase the amount of funded pensions. In October, military pensions will also increase due to planned indexation.

At the same time, there is no provision for co—financing from the budget - as employers will be involved in transferring payments for employees.

On July 8, the press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front warned that a new deception scheme had been recorded in Russia, in which attackers disguised as Social Fund workers or bank employees tell elderly people about failures in the registration of July pension allowances. Manipulating the fictitious "new decrees" and deliberately rushing the interlocutor, the scammers insist on immediate verification of personal data, ask for full details of bank cards or send verification codes from messages.
