Iranian media reported an explosion at the airport in Iranshahr

In the south-east of Iran, an explosion occurred in the building and on the runway of the airport in Iranshahr. One person died. This was reported on July 9 by the Iranian state Television and Radio company IRIB, citing local sources.

"An explosion in the building and on the runway of Iranshahr airport, smoke is visible in the sky. <...> A firefighter was killed as a result of an attack on facilities," the Telegram channel said.
