Two people died in an accident in the Irkutsk region

Two cars collided head-on on the highway R-255 "Siberia" in the Irkutsk region. Two people died.

The accident occurred early in the morning on the territory of the Ziminsky district. According to the IrkutskMedia news agency, the 69-year-old driver of a Nissan Almera car was not convinced of safety and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Toyota Noah.

The passenger of the Nissan was killed at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital, where he died. The 52-year-old driver of the second foreign car was injured.

An accident investigation is underway.
