The number of offers for the sale of used cars of Chinese brands has increased in Russia

In the first half of the year, the number of offers for the sale of used Chinese cars increased by almost a third. This is stated in a study by Auto analysts.<url> Business", which was reviewed by Izvestia on July 9.

From January to June, the number of such ads increased by 28%, according to the report. The number of offers for the sale of cars of other foreign brands has hardly changed, and the number of ads for the sale of Russian models has decreased by 8%.

The average price of a used Chinese-made car in June was 2.27 million rubles, which is 5.2% higher than in January this year. At the same time, the year-on-year price increase was only 2.5%.

In the case of other foreign cars, the average cost for six months increased by almost 8% to 2.46 million rubles and by 5.5% compared to June last year. In the segment of domestic brands, the average price has remained virtually unchanged since the beginning of the year and remains at 732 thousand rubles.

In the first half of the year, <url> analysts recorded a decrease in the average cost of a used car in only five regions: the Kostroma Region became the leader (-2%, the average price of a used car was 921 thousand rubles). In the rest, the decrease was less than 1.5%.

In most regions, the average cost of a used car has increased by more than 2% since the beginning of the year. The most significant price increases occurred in the Perm Region (+16.6%, 1.27 million rubles), Udmurtia (+14.7%, 1.2 million rubles) and the Samara Region (+13%, 1.28 million rubles). To a greater extent, the growth of the average used car price is associated with a change in the structure of the offer, experts explain.

In Moscow, the average cost of a used car approached the level of 3 million rubles, rising by 7% in six months. This is the highest rate in the country. In St. Petersburg, the average price in June stood at 2.22 million rubles, which is 204 thousand rubles higher than in January.

According to the results of June, experts identified five models of used cars, for which the average price in the secondary market decreased the most. These are Mercedes-Benz V-Class (-12.4%; 7.76 million rubles), Geely Coolray (-10%; 1.99 million rubles), Lada-2107 (-8.7%; 245 thousand rubles), Mercedes-Benz S-Class (-8%; 11.34 million rubles) and Lada-2115 (-7.7%; 221 thousand rubles).
