The Russian motorcycle market grew by 14.7%

In six months, 32.7 thousand new motorcycles were sold in Russia.

According to the results of the first half of the year, 32,703 new motorcycles were sold in Russia. Such data is provided by the analytical agency Autostat on July 8, based on the number of issued EPTS. This result is 14.7% higher than in the same period last year.

Four brands accounted for more than 40% of all new motorcycles sold in the first six months: Regulmoto (4,746 units), Voge (3,653 units), Motoland (2,908 units) and Racer (2,166 units). Besides them, Bajaj also entered the top five brands (1,102 units), according to Autostat. The agency's analysts specify that the positive dynamics in the Russian motorcycle market has been noted for the fifth month in a row, and the decline was recorded only in January of this year.

The most popular motorcycle model in the first half of the year was the Motoland XF300, which sold 2,572 units. It is closely followed by the Voge DS bikes (1,294 units), Racer RC 300 (845 units) and Voge CU (790 units). Completing the top five is the Voge 300 model (685 units).

As for the figures for June, 8,530 new motorcycles were sold in Russia in the first summer month. This is 18% more than a year earlier, according to Autostat.

On the same day, it was reported that imports of new passenger cars (up to three years old) to Russia increased by 25% in the first half of the year. Since the beginning of the year, 186.3 thousand new cars have been imported into our country.
