The American military may launch new attacks on Iran next night. This was stated on July 8 by US President Donald Trump during a meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit, which is taking place in Ankara.

"We hit them hard. <...> Perhaps we will hit Iran hard again tonight," the head of the White House said.

Trump said that the Islamic Republic had allegedly been the most important "bully" for the past 47 years, but now this is not the case. Washington, he explained, would do everything to deprive Tehran of the possibility of possessing nuclear weapons.

It became known about the powerful strikes on Iran on the same day. One of the American officials noted that the attacks had become more widespread than all those that had been carried out before.

Tehran promised Washington a response, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic added that it would be carried out in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, which grants countries the right to individual or collective self-defense. They also stated that the Iranian-American memorandum was again undermined by the United States, which shows its ineffectiveness.
