Unknown assailant attacked a school in Schongau, Germany
An unknown assailant attacked a gymnasium in Bavaria, an educational institution located in the city of Schongau in southern Germany, the Bild tabloid reported on July 8.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested. As the newspaper Die Zeit pointed out, a contact point for relatives and parents of students has been set up in the fire station near the scene of the incident. There are significant law enforcement forces outside the school building.

Schongau is a small town with a population of over 12,000 people, located on the banks of the Lech River in the western part of Upper Bavaria.
On July 1, in Melrichstadt, Germany, an unknown man attacked a company office with a knife, as a result of which one person died and three others were injured. According to police, the suspect turned out to be a 21-year-old German citizen, and he was arrested. The motives of the attack are being established.
