On July 7, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced an attack by Iran on a Saudi tanker while crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia expresses its strongest condemnation <...> of the attack on the Saudi tanker Wadiyan while crossing the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the attack on the Qatari tanker Al Rekayyat," the ministry said in a statement on the social network X.
