Zabaikalleskhoz received six UAZ trucks to fight fires

Zabaikalleskhoz fire fighting units have received new equipment. The company's fleet has been replenished with six UAZ-390995 off-road vehicles, the press service of the regional government reports.

The vehicles will be used to quickly deliver forest fire brigades to fire sites in hard-to-reach areas. This will allow specialists to work in difficult road conditions and respond faster to emerging threats.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, in June 2026, the company also received another batch of similar equipment. It included seven Sadko NEXT trucks with all-wheel drive and two UAZ vehicles.

Earlier it was reported that Zabaikalleskhoz has half completed the plan for forest restoration in the region, scheduled for 2026. More than 2 million coniferous seedlings have already been planted as part of the national Environmental Well-being project.
