A man was killed in an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a trading base in Melitopol.

One person was killed and four others were injured in an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at one of the trading bases in Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on July 7 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.

"As a result of an attack by an enemy UAV on a trading base in Melitopol, a man born in 1987 was killed," he said in a message on the Maks messenger.

The head of the region added that four people were also injured in the incident. All of them, according to Balitsky, are receiving medical care.

According to the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, representatives of operational services are already working at the scene of the incident.

On the same day, the head of the Luhansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, announced the death of a 35-year-old motorist as a result of a drone strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Novoaydarsky municipal district. It was noted that the father of the deceased was also injured in the incident.
