"The new album did not surprise or disappoint me. I got what I expected, which is good. Everything is quite predictable and in their style. The sound is absolutely not heavy, everything is classic — quite recognizable. I can assume that this is how the musicians themselves perceive their release. We were very pleased with the layering of the compositions, the classic "Dipperplow" organ and the elements of the prog. It's a good record. I would compare it to the Machine Head album from 1972. The only thing that upset me a bit was the vocals. Ian Gillan seemed to be tired, and it was very audible that a very middle-aged man was singing, which could not be said about drummer Ian Pace. Well, Roger Glover is generally handsome! His guitar still sounds fresh and without signs of osteoarthritis," Fukovsky said.

In conclusion, Fukovsky called the simultaneous release of Deep Purple's new release with Madonna's new album a coincidence.

"I think it's a coincidence. Madonna and Deep Purple are so far apart that Deep Purple can in no way influence the promotion of Madonna's grandmother, and she, in turn, can't influence the promotion of our glorious prog veterans and the founders of Heavy Metal. It's like comparing a delicious steak and boiled chicken," he concluded.
