VTB will support industrial and agricultural projects in the regions

VTB signed a number of agreements on financing investment projects in industry, the agro-industrial complex, logistics, tourism and the food industry at the Innoprom-2026 international industrial exhibition. The Bank intends to expand its support for projects aimed at developing the regional economy, said Alexey Kushnir, Head of the Regional Corporate Business Department and Senior Vice President of VTB.

One of the agreements was the expansion of cooperation with the Sima Land Group. The company plans to raise 3 billion rubles for the implementation of new productions of innovative products made of polymer and other modern materials, as well as for the development of existing projects. "Cooperation with VTB allows us to confidently implement the investment program and create additional opportunities for further growth of the company," said Konstantin Oboskalov, CEO of TD Sima Land LLC.

VTB intends to continue participating in the implementation of investment programs of companies that expand production, introduce new technologies, create jobs and form sustainable production chains, Kushnir said. According to him, such projects create a long-term effect for industry, trade and the labor market.

VTB has signed another agreement with Agro-Holding Maisky. It provides financing for a 6 billion-ruble project to modernize existing sites and build new livestock complexes in the Perm Region. The enterprise is scheduled to reach its design capacity in 2030.

VTB has agreed to cooperate with Bauinvestgroup in the field of industrial and logistics infrastructure. The parties plan to work out financing for the construction of logistics complexes in Perm and Kirov, as well as the Druzhba Technopark in the Perm Region, which will provide production facilities to residents on preferential terms.

The Bank will also expand cooperation with the Epifanov Group of companies (operating under the Sofi Land brand). We are talking about financing the construction of a hotel complex in Tobolsk, the restoration of an 18th-century cultural heritage site and the implementation of Russia's first digital hotel in Tyumen.

The creation of modern tourist facilities and the restoration of iconic historical buildings make it possible not only to develop the territory's economy, but also to form new points of attraction for residents and guests of the Tyumen Region, said Sergey Epifanov, head of the group of companies. "For the implementation of such long—term initiatives, it is important to have the support of a financial partner who is ready to participate in projects at all stages of their development," he said.

In addition, VTB will provide 2.2 billion rubles to the Kurgan Meat Processing Plant Standard, which is part of the Ural Agro-Industrial Group. The funds will be used to finance the current activities of the enterprise and the implementation of investment projects related to the development of production facilities.
