Sobyanin spoke about the layout of the Kedrovaya transport hub

The Moscow authorities have approved the draft layout of the territory of the Kedrovaya transport hub. The facility will appear between Kaluzhskoye Highway and Stanislavsky Ponds, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in the Maks messenger.

The transport hub will include the Troitskaya metro station under construction and surface urban transport. An interchange will be built on Kaluga Highway, additional traffic lights and modern stops will be installed. The surrounding area will also be landscaped, Sobyanin said.

The planned site will house a fair with an ice rink, multi-level parking, administrative and business complexes with a hotel and underground garages. In the future, about 6 thousand jobs will be created on the territory of the transport hub, the mayor noted.

Earlier, Sobyanin announced the beginning of the passage of the right tunnel between the stations "Kedrovaya" and "Vatutinki" of the Troitskaya metro line. After completion, the line will stretch from ZIL station to Troitsk, combining 17 stations and more than 43 km of tracks. It is expected that over 300,000 residents and employees of the Troitsk and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (TiNAO) will receive the metro within walking distance.
