Last night, the air defense forces destroyed six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Kaluga Region. This was announced on July 7 by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha.

"As a result of the UAV attack, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise in the Dzerzhinsky district," he wrote on the Maks messenger channel.

According to him, the drones were shot down over Borovsky, Dzerzhinsky and Sukhinichi municipal districts, as well as on the outskirts of Kaluga. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Emergency services and emergency personnel are working at the scene.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the same day that more than 430 drones were flying towards the Moscow region from evening to 6 a.m. He clarified that 36 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed on approach to Moscow.
