An unknown shell struck a tanker off the coast of Oman. This was announced on July 7 by the UK Maritime Trade Authority (UKMTO).

"The tanker, moving in a southerly direction, reported that an unknown projectile hit the port side, which caused a fire. There are no casualties or environmental damage," the publication says.
