Olga Trushkina, a cardiologist at the Fomin Clinic network, told on Monday, July 6, what tachycardia can lead to and what types of it are really dangerous.

Some types of pathological tachycardia can lead to serious complications if they are not detected and treated in time, the specialist warned in an interview with Health Mail. These include the formation of intracardiac blood clots and thromboembolism, the development of chronic heart failure with atrial fibrillation, syncope, and sudden death with life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias.

According to the specialist, the alarming symptoms that accompany tachycardia include: chest pain and discomfort, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting or fainting, a clear sudden onset and end of tachycardia, a sharp decrease in blood pressure, swelling of the legs.

Trushkina identified the most common risk factors for the development of dangerous tachyarrhythmias: high blood pressure, old age, burdened family history (the presence of illness in relatives), cardiovascular diseases.

To find out the type of tachycardia and determine further tactics, the cardiologist can send for additional examination: ECG, Holter monitoring, ultrasound of the heart.

Earlier that day, cardiologist Andrey Kokin told Life.En about subtle body signals that may indicate heart problems.

According to the expert, fatigue for no obvious reason may be one of the first signs of a decrease in heart function. 360.ru . If the usual things start to get harder, this may indicate that the heart is no longer able to effectively pump blood. Due to insufficient oxygen supply to the tissues, weakness, drowsiness and a feeling of lack of energy appear even after small loads, writes RIAMO.

Earlier, on June 11, Evgeny Kokin, a cardiologist at JSC "Medicine" (Academician Roitberg clinic), Candidate of medical Sciences, warned that the heat is especially dangerous for people with cardiovascular diseases.

According to the doctor, people with these diseases should be careful in the heat, because because of it, the heart works under additional stress. At high air temperatures, the vessels expand, the pressure may fluctuate, and due to fluid loss, the blood becomes thicker. This increases the risk of tachycardia, exacerbation of ischemia, thrombosis and decompensation of chronic heart disease, he warned.
