The Telegraph has learned about the refusal to accommodate Prince Harry at Buckingham Palace

Prince Harry, the youngest son of the current British monarch, Cal III, who arrived in London, was refused accommodation at Buckingham Palace, as local services did not have time to prepare for his arrival. This was reported on July 6 by The Telegraph newspaper, citing a court source.

"The Prince landed in London shortly after 18:00 (20:00 Moscow time. — Ed.) on Monday (July 6. His team announced that he had accepted an offer to stay at [Buckingham] Palace, but a few minutes after this announcement <...> the palace reported that the invitation had been accepted too late," the article says.

The corresponding situation, according to the undisclosed interlocutors of the publication, has developed due to the fact that the hospitality services allegedly need a lot of time to prepare the facility for temporary guest accommodation. It was noted that such a step was taken with the approval of Charles III.

The youngest son of the King of Great Britain returned to his homeland from the United States to take part in court proceedings on a libel lawsuit filed by him against the Daily Mail newspaper. Such a reason, as explained in The Telegraph, could force Charles III to agree with the court services not to let his son into the palace in order to avoid scandals.

The Guardian newspaper reported on June 28 that Prince Harry was considering canceling his visit to his homeland after the kingdom's government rejected his request for police protection. Initially, he was supposed to come to London with his children and wife Megan Markle. The decision made by the host party, as noted, depressed the prince, as it was announced just a couple of days before the trip.
