In 2026, Moscow schoolchildren showed record results in the Unified State Exam. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.

In total, over 93 thousand people took the Unified State Exam, of which about 72 thousand were graduates of the current year.

For the first time in the 25-year history of the Unified State Exam, Ekaterina Malkova, a graduate of school No. 1409, scored 500 points in five subjects. Five more graduates from the capital received 400 points each, showing the highest result in four disciplines at once. Among them are Vera Zakharova from K.A. Kerimov School No. 1583, Daria Efimova from school No. 58, Margarita Salomasova from school No. 1573, as well as graduates of the MAI preuniversary Grigory Slavnov and Alexander Gorbunov. All of them successfully passed the Russian language, specialized mathematics, physics and computer science with a maximum score.

"Such an indicator ― five 400-point students in one subject of the Russian Federation ― is unique in the entire history of the exam," Sobyanin said.

According to the results of the current academic year, the number of graduates who scored 100 points on the Unified State Exam in Moscow doubled compared to last year and reached 3,175 people. The number of participants who achieved maximum results in two subjects at once also doubled, to 341. At the same time, the number of graduates who scored 300 points in three exams increased more than eightfold to 34.

According to the mayor of the capital, such high results of the capital's graduates were largely made possible by the special system of preparation for the Unified State Exam operating in city schools. For the fourth year in a row, at least 40% of the study time has been devoted to special workshops aimed at preparing for exams. In addition, since 2022, training sessions in the USE format have been regularly organized, as close as possible to the conditions of a real exam.
