Restrictions for trucks were introduced due to the heat on Kurgan roads
On July 6, heavy-duty vehicle traffic restrictions are in effect on all federal highways in the Kurgan Region. The reason is abnormal heat.
The ban will last during hot weather, with air temperatures above +32 degrees, presumably up to 22 hours. This is necessary for the safety of the road surface, writes the news agency " <url>" with reference to the financial institution "Uralupravtodor".
The restrictions apply to cargo vehicles whose mass or axle load is higher than the permissible parameters set by the Government of the Russian Federation.
On June 29, the Hydrometeorological Center's website reported that the subtropical ridge that brought extreme heat to European countries would also affect the central regions of Russia.
