- The court refused to include Blinovskaya's father's property in her bankruptcy estate
The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal overturned the ruling of the Moscow Arbitration Court, which recognized part of the property registered to Elena Blinovskaya's father Oleg Ostanin as actually belonging to the blogger and included in its bankruptcy estate. Blinovskaya's lawyer Ivan Morozov informed Izvestia about this on July 6.
Earlier, the court of first instance recognized a number of transactions as fake and concluded that Blinovskaya was the actual owner of some of the assets. Her father's ownership of the property was terminated, and the objects were included in the debtor's bankruptcy estate for subsequent sale in the interests of creditors, including the Federal Tax Service. It was about apartments in the 4th Upper Mikhailovsky Passage, as well as a storage room and parking space in the residential complex "Donskoy Olympus" in Moscow and a number of other real estate objects.
At the same time, Ostanin's property and funds were arrested to execute the verdict of the Savyolovsky District Court regarding the state's civil claim against Blinovskaya for damages in the amount of 587.6 million rubles.
In March 2025, the "marathon queen" was found guilty of tax evasion on an especially large scale, money laundering, and illegal circulation of funds of payments and sentenced her to five years in a penal colony. At the same time, Blinovskaya was released from criminal prosecution under the article on tax evasion due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
According to investigators, the blogger, using the scheme of "crushing" the business, underestimated the income received and did not pay VAT and personal income tax for the period 2019-2021. The amount amounted to more than 900 million rubles.
