The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) understands that it is expected to identify those responsible for the shelling of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), but is unable to draw such conclusions. This was announced on July 6 by the head of the organization, Rafael Grossi.

"If we had irrefutable evidence, we could say that. <...> This is, of course, a fine line. Someone once said that in an international organization you try to make everyone equally unhappy," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Grossi also pointed out that the IAEA emphasizes the need to be able to independently and independently verify all the circumstances before making such conclusions.

He added that due to the lack of such an opportunity, he tries to clearly and directly declare the unacceptability of such actions.

On July 3, the press service of the NPP reported that a temporary power outage had occurred at the station, as a result of which the station was powered by generators. The representatives of the IAEA located at the facility were promptly informed about the incident.

On June 26, the armed forces of Ukraine attacked the building of the workshop of the electrical networks of the nuclear power plant in the industrial zone of Energodar, in the area of the Raduga substation. It was clarified that the damage was not critical. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
