The Russian Interior Ministry has named the most modern cybersecurity strategy.
The Zero Trust principle is currently the most advanced cybersecurity strategy. This was reported on July 6 in the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"The most modern cybersecurity strategy today is the principle of zero trust, or Zero Trust. Its essence is in one phrase: "Never trust, always check,"" TASS quoted the press center of the Interior Ministry.
The ministry added that even this approach is not enough in the context of active social engineering. They advised using the strategy of "Don't believe not only words, but also what you see on the screen or hear on the phone."
On July 5, Senator Artem Sheikin, Deputy Chairman of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy at the Federation Council, reported that hackers were sending fake promotional emails where the "unsubscribe" button contains a hidden link. It was noted that when clicking on it, the user is asked to provide personal data, ostensibly to complete the unsubscription.
