The regions of Russia with the highest average salaries in April are named
In Russia, in April 2026, the highest average salaries were recorded in five regions of the country — Chukotka, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Magadan Region, Moscow and Nenets Autonomous District. This follows from the statistics that TASS reviewed on July 6.
According to the analysis, the average wage in Chukotka was 250.9 thousand rubles, in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District — 211.3 thousand rubles, in the Magadan Region — 204.7 thousand rubles, in Moscow — 196.8 thousand rubles, and in Nenets Autonomous District — 164.5 thousand rubles. At the same time, the average salary in the country was 109,052 rubles.
"Chukotka and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District retain the highest level of income, which is explained by the specifics of the local economy and the presence of highly paid industries," the analysts noted.
According to statistics, in Moscow, the average salary increased by almost 31 thousand rubles and amounted to 219,618 rubles in March this year. Last year, for the same month, the amount was 188,978 rubles.
