The US Navy has stopped searching for a missing man after a helicopter crash in the Arabian Sea.

The US Navy has halted the search for a serviceman who disappeared after the downing of the MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter in the Arabian Sea on July 1. This was reported on July 5 by The New York Times (NYT).

"On Sunday, the US Navy suspended the search for a crew member who went missing after the MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter crashed in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday," the publication says.

It is specified that three other crew members of the US Navy helicopter were rescued shortly after the emergency landing on July 1 during a routine patrol.

In addition, according to the newspaper, the Fifth Fleet of the US Navy in Bahrain reported that Navy and Air Force personnel conducted a search and rescue operation for more than 100 hours on an area of over 36.3 thousand square kilometers, after which it was discontinued.
